According to informed sources who did not wish to be named, CIA Director William Burns is scheduled to visit Doha on Wednesday to discuss the ceasefire in Gaza and the exchange of prisoners with the Qatari side.

Burns’ purpose of this trip is to resolve the remaining differences between the Hamas movement and the Zionist regime so that the ceasefire agreement can finally be realized before Donald Trump enters the White House on January 20.

Egypt’s Al-Ahram newspaper also announced the intensification of the mediation activities of Doha and Cairo to reach an agreement between the parties.
