European Troika’s repeated accusations about Iran’s nuclear program
The three European countries that are members of the JCPOA once again claimed that Iran’s 60% enrichment is not for civilian purposes.
According to RCO News Agency, on Tuesday evening, in a joint statement, the countries of France, England and Germany once again claimed that the increase in Iran’s high-purity uranium stockpile to an “unprecedented level has no valid civilian justification”.
In this statement, which was published before the periodic meeting of the Security Council, the three European countries that are members of the JCPOA asked Iran to stop intensifying its nuclear activities.
It is stated in this statement: “Iran’s stockpile of enriched uranium with high purity has reached unprecedented levels and once again this increase has no valid civilian justification. This gives Iran the ability to quickly produce fissile material to build multiple nuclear weapons.”
Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, also said on Tuesday that Iran is enriching uranium to the level of 60% and nearly 90%.
Iran has repeatedly stated that its nuclear program is completely peaceful and nuclear weapons have no place in Tehran’s defense doctrine.
The European Troika also said in this statement: “Iran has accelerated the installation of advanced centrifuges, which is another destructive step in Iran’s efforts to undermine the nuclear agreement that it claims to support.”
These claims are while Iran has installed thousands of advanced centrifuges for uranium enrichment in response to the hostile action of the West in advancing the anti-Iranian resolution in the International Agency’s Board of Governors.
