Approval of the anti-Iranian resolution in the UN General Assembly
The anti-Iranian human rights resolution was approved in the UN General Assembly.
According to Isna, the resolution submitted by Canada to the United Nations General Assembly regarding the alleged violation of human rights in Iran was approved with the lowest number of votes.
This resolution was approved on Tuesday evening with 80 votes in favor against 27 votes against and 68 abstentions.
Canada, which itself has a black history of human rights, especially in the context of killing the natives of this land, has always presented human rights resolutions against Iran.
The Islamic Republic of Iran has emphasized that it considers these resolutions biased and politically motivated.
