Pentagon: Syrian Democratic Forces are no longer active in Manbij region
On Tuesday, the US Department of Defense expressed concern about the possible abuse of the field conditions in this country by ISIS, referring to the reduction of the activities of the Syrian Democratic Forces in the Manbij region of Syria.
According to RCO News Agency, the Pentagon announced that according to the evaluations of this organization, the Syrian Democratic Forces are no longer active in Manbij region in Syria.
The headquarters of the US Department of Defense also pointed out that ISIS prisons in Syria are still under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces and stated: We are concerned about the possibility of ISIS abusing the field conditions in Syria.
The Pentagon further emphasized that with the fall of Bashar al-Assad, the former president of Syria, Russia’s influence in the Middle East has decreased significantly.
