Macron’s reaction to the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s government
The President of France reacted to the departure of “Bashar Assad” from power in Syria.
According to Isna, French President Emmanuel Macron praised the “courage and patience of the Syrian people” by announcing that he welcomed the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s government in Syria.
By publishing a message on the X social network (formerly Twitter), he described Bashar Assad and his government as violent and called the Syrian opposition “brave Syrian people” who patiently came to power.
After the advance of the last few days, which started from Aleppo and reached Hama, the Syrian armed opposition started their movement towards Damascus on Saturday from the south of Syria and entered the Syrian capital this Sunday morning and took control of it.
Macron’s message reads: “In these moments of uncertainty, I wish for peace, freedom and unity.”
