Turkish and American Foreign Ministries consultation about developments in Syria

According to Isna, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced that Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Güler and US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin had a telephone conversation about the developments in Syria.

The Ministry published a message on the X social network (formerly Twitter) and wrote: “National Defense Minister Yashar Güler and US Defense Secretary Lloyd James Austin had a telephone conversation on December 8, 2024. In this conversation, views were exchanged on bilateral and regional issues in the fields of defense and security, especially the latest developments in Syria.
