According to Mehr news agency, Iraqi government spokesman “Basem Al-Awadi” in a conversation with Al-Jazeera gave explanations about the entry of Syrian army forces into Iraq.

The spokesman of the Iraqi government said: Two thousand soldiers of the Syrian army entered the territory of Iraq with full equipment. These Syrian army soldiers entered Iraq today. They are guests of Iraqi forces.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Defense of Iraq announced in a statement: Iraqi forces were reorganized to strengthen support on the borders of Iraq and Syria from the city of Rabia to Sinjar.
