According to Mehr news agency, quoted by Al Jazeera network, “Basm Al-Awadi, the spokesman of the Iraqi government, said: “The ceasefire in Lebanon is an important measure that protects us from an all-encompassing and comprehensive conflict.”

He emphasized: Stopping the conflict in Lebanon and implementing a ceasefire will be the basis for stopping the war in Gaza.

After months of conflict, the ceasefire in Lebanon was finally implemented at 04:00 AM on Tuesday, December 7 Beirut time (05:30 Tehran time).
