Video/ NASA’s $3 million challenge for recycling in space
Scientists estimate that transporting one pound of matter to the moon and back will cost nearly $100,000. Now, NASA is looking for solutions that will help future astronauts more efficiently reuse the materials they take with them into space. Using the “Luna” challenge, NASA plans to give a cash prize of three million dollars to whoever can solve the problem of recycling materials.
