American lawmaker: Biden has committed an illegal war and should be impeached
The US congressman stated that Joe Biden has violated the US Constitution and emphasized that he should be impeached for allowing Ukraine to fire US long-range missiles at Russia.
According to Isna, several American media reported that US President Joe Biden has canceled restrictions on Kiev’s use of US-supplied missiles. While the White House has not officially confirmed or denied this News, on Tuesday morning a missile barrage targeted the Bryansk region of Russia.
In this regard, “Thomas Massey”, an American Republican from Kentucky, wrote on X social network (former Twitter): “By allowing Kiev to use long-range missiles to attack inside Russia, Biden is committing an illegal war that is against the constitution. It could endanger the lives of all citizens of the United States.”
He added: “This is an impeachable crime, but the reality is that he is an agent of a deep state.”
Thomas Massey has served in the United States House of Representatives since 2012 and won the last election easily. His insistence on the need to enforce the Constitution has often put him at odds with both Democrats and his own party.
According to the US Constitution, only Congress has the power to start a war. However, the last time this happened was in 1942. Since 1991, the US Congress has approved three authorizations for the use of military force; 2 times against Iraq and once against al-Qaeda. This license to target al-Qaeda has been extended to justify the 2001 invasion of Afghanistan, as well as subsequent interventions in Syria, Somalia, Yemen, and elsewhere.
The U.S. authorization “mostly” applies to Russia’s Kursk region, which Ukraine invaded in August, according to unnamed officials who spoke to the media. This decision was made due to Ukraine’s claim of sending 10,000 North Korean soldiers to Kursk to help Russian forces.
According to Rasha Today, the United States and its allies had imposed certain restrictions on the use of the weapons they provided to Kiev since 2022, in order to have a plausible deniability about their non-involvement in the conflict with Russia.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that the use of long-range missiles will change the nature of the conflict and make NATO a direct participant in hostilities. Moscow is also revising its nuclear doctrine to include conventional strikes by proxies.
