In a Telegram post, Medvedev stated that the heads of European countries are deliberately fueling the war in Ukraine and want the situation to worsen, but this situation will cause the war to penetrate into their territories.
According to RCO News Agency, the former president of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, continued to write that the actions of European countries were based on maneuvers before the US presidential election and the desire to please the United States rather than benefiting the interests of their citizens.
According to Pravda News website, Medvedev also warned that these measures will only prolong the suffering of the Ukrainian people and increase the risk of escalation.
He wrote in his telegram message: “After the victory of Donald Trump, the Republican candidate, European leaders have intensified their actions towards Ukraine.” The goal is to push the conflict with Russia to an irreversible stage. “France shouts that it will support Kiev if the US withdraws, then NATO leaders talk about how to escalate the war against Russia.”
He added: “Even now, German chancellor candidate Friedrich Mertes has given an ultimatum to Russia. The actions of European leaders in sending more weapons to Ukraine will only prolong the war. Escalation of this war will only create a more dangerous stage for increased cruise missile attacks.
