Karim Khan will not resign from his position
The monitoring board of the International Criminal Court announced that it has started a separate investigation on Karim Khan, the prosecutor of this court, on charges of sexual misconduct, and Karim Khan also said that he will not resign from his position during this investigation.
According to RCO News Agency, Karim Khan, who in May requested the issuance of an arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister, and Yoav Galant, the Minister of War at the time of the Zionist regime, has now been accused of sexual misconduct and has been temporarily suspended, but he said that He does not resign from his position. The ruling body of the International Criminal Court has started an investigation against its chief prosecutor, Karim Khan, on charges of sexual misconduct.
According to the Associated Press News agency, the assembly of member states of the International Criminal Court said: “Investigations outside the monitoring body are underway with the aim of ensuring a fair, independent and impartial procedure.”
Karim Khan has denied these accusations. These claims come amid reports of an intelligence campaign by the Zionist regime to discredit the International Criminal Court’s actions against Netanyahu for his war crimes in Gaza.
The prosecutor of the International Criminal Court also announced in a statement that he is aware of the new investigation and requested that his two deputies take charge of the court’s internal affairs.
He also refused to resign from his position during this investigation and added: “I will continue my activities as a prosecutor according to my job.”
Karim Khan also said that the accusation of sexual misconduct started at the same time as a fake information campaign was launched against him.
He has been threatened many times by the intelligence services of the Zionist regime. Even some Republican American senators had openly threatened him and his family that he would face sanctions from the American Congress if an arrest warrant was issued against Israeli officials.
