Increasing security arrangements for the game between the Zionist regime and French teams in Paris
Thousands of Paris police officers are set to be deployed for Thursday’s match between France and Israel amid heightened security concerns over attacks on Zionists in Amsterdam.
According to Isna, during the soccer match between Ajax and Maccabi teams that was held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, the supporters of this Israeli team pulled down the Palestinian flags in the city and following this action, the Palestinian fans also got into a fight with them. As a result, 10 people were injured.
According to the Rashatoudi News channel, the football match between the French and the Zionist regime is scheduled to be held in Paris on Thursday, and for this reason, thousands of police forces will be deployed to ensure security.
The Elysee Palace also announced that French President Emmanuel Macron, who is expected to attend the game, issued a message of brotherhood and solidarity after recent acts he called “anti-Semitic” in Amsterdam.
About 2,500 police officers are going to appear around and inside the stadium where the game will be held, and another 1,500 will protect public transportation.
Also, 1,600 security personnel are inside the stadium.
Referring to international tensions, the head of the Paris police said: “A number of issues have occurred in the Middle East that make this game dangerous. We do not allow any irregularities in the course of this game. Measures against terrorism are carried out in and around the stadium.
Tensions in Amsterdam peaked when 3,000 fans of the Israeli team Maccabi attended the Europa League club match against Ajax at the Johan Cruyff Arena.
On Wednesday evening, Maccabi fans were filmed pulling down a large Palestinian flag from a building in the center of Amsterdam.
The mayor of Amsterdam prevented the Palestinian supporters from holding a rally near the stadium before the game, which started the conflict.
Before the intervention of the Dutch police, one of the people who was present at the pro-Palestinian march told the country’s AT5 news channel that the video showed that the fans of the Israeli team pulled down the Palestinian flag, which caused a lot of anger.
On Thursday night, Ajax fans were outraged moments before kick-off at the Johan Cruyff stadium as Maccabi supporters whistled during a minute’s silence in memory of the victims of the deadly floods in Valencia.
Dutch police escorted Maccabi fans from the stadium to buses and train stations after the game, but several videos have surfaced on social media showing Zionists being attacked in the streets.
Palestinian media reported that clashes broke out with Israeli fans after some of them tore down the Palestinian flag.
