Support for Israel scandalized the British media
The English media was scandalized by its biased coverage of the recent developments in the Netherlands and its unilateral support for the Zionist regime.
According to Isna, after the Zionist football fans were injured in Amsterdam, the English-language media immediately started defending the Zionist regime and showing the Zionists as “blameless” in these violence.
But with the passing of several days, the users of the virtual space have started to investigate the biased coverage of the English media, especially “Sky News“.
In its first report on the developments in Amsterdam, this English news agency published a picture with the title “Israeli football fans were attacked in Amsterdam”.
Shortly after, the page of this English media on X social network deleted the initial images and wrote: “The published image did not match the impartial standards of Sky News and maintaining the balance of this media.”
After providing this explanation, Sky News published a manipulated picture of the clashes in Amsterdam, which according to analysts, this English media has sought to present a report aligned with the Zionist “approach” with “extensive and deliberate manipulation”.
The manipulations involved changing “attack on football fans” to “anti-Semitic violence”, completely removing “the notoriety of violent acts by far-right Israelis and the group’s racism” from the report, and adding a minute of biased reporting in an attempt to compare these acts of violence to the operation. It includes Al-Aqsa storm on October 7, 2023.
In the manipulated Sky News report, the images of the tearing of the Palestinian flag and the racist and anti-Arab slogans of the Zionists and the attack of these people on the houses of the residents of Amsterdam have been completely removed and the violence committed by the Zionists has been attributed to “unknown” people.
Also, in a part of the initial report of Sky News, the attack of Zionist football supporters on Dutch citizens was directly mentioned, which was changed to “attack of masked men on Dutch citizens” in the manipulated report of this English media.
In addition to the mentioned changes, Turkey’s “Anatolia” news agency also revealed in a report that a tweet by Sky News that included profanity about Zionists before the start of the football matches was completely deleted.
According to the report of this news agency, in the deleted tweet it was written: “Supporters of the Israeli Maccabi football team chanted anti-Arab, racist slogans before tearing the Palestinian flag.”
The action of Sky News has brought many criticisms. Asa Winstanley, a Jewish investigative reporter on the X social network, wrote: “The deleted images show the reality of how violent events took place in Amsterdam. These images reveal the reality of the racist brutality of Israeli football supporters.”
The way Sky News covers the developments in Amsterdam is completely contrary to the claim of this English media about “impartiality and establishing justice” in news coverage.
On Thursday, a clash broke out between supporters of Palestine and supporters of the Israeli football team “Maccabi” who came to Amsterdam to play a game. After that, a court in the Netherlands banned holding a gathering in this regard for three days.
Dutch prosecutors announced on Saturday night that in this regard, they detained four people, including two teenagers, on charges of “violent actions”, 40 people on charges of “disturbing public order” and 10 people on charges of actions including “vandalism”. , have been fined.
