American strategic bombers arrived in England
Local newspaper Gloucestershire Live reported today (Friday) that three US Air Force B-52 strategic bombers arrived at Fairford Air Force Base in Gloucestershire in southern England earlier this week, and a fourth bomber is expected to arrive soon.
According to Isna, this local newspaper wrote that 2 American bombers landed in England on Tuesday and the third bomber landed on Thursday, which are part of the mission of the American special forces bomber in Europe.
This local newspaper further wrote that one of the American strategic bombers had to land for refueling and the other had a technical problem due to cloudy weather. A fourth bomber is expected to arrive in the UK in the coming days.
In early November, US Air Force European Command announced that it would move strategic bombers to Europe in the coming days to conduct joint operations with NATO partners.
