According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Rashatoudi, the president of Brazil, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, says that his preference is that at the end of the 2024 US presidential election, Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate, will win.

Da Silva wrote in a message on “X” channel: I love democracy. I believe that this system is the best governance mechanism that the society has made so far.

He added: This system allows political rivals who are hostile to each other to discuss and exchange ideas in a civilized manner and away from violence. I think Kamala will win the election. It is more certain that democracy will be strengthened in America.

This message was published after Lula’s interview with French TV channel TF1. He said in that interview that “the presence of Kamala Harris at the top of the power will be a good thing.”
