Safadi called for American pressure on the Zionist regime
In a meeting with his American counterpart, the Jordanian Foreign Minister demanded pressure from Washington on the Zionist regime to stop the ethnic cleansing in Gaza.
According to RCO News Agency, American Foreign Minister Anthony Blinken and Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi met and discussed in London.
According to Al Jazeera, Safadi asked Blinken that the United States pressure the Zionist regime to stop ethnic cleansing in northern Gaza.
In response to the military operation of the Zionist regime in northern Gaza and the dire humanitarian situation in that region, the Jordanian Foreign Minister said that we are witnessing ethnic cleansing and it must be stopped.
On the other hand, the US foreign minister said that reaching a diplomatic solution to end the Zionist regime’s war in Lebanon is a real and urgent necessity.
According to Middle East News, he also called for the protection of civilians in Lebanon.
Pointing to the necessity of the full implementation of Security Council Resolution 1701 and the establishment of real security on the borders of the occupied territories and Lebanon, Blinken emphasized that civilians should be safe.
The US Secretary of State also emphasized that the Lebanese armed forces are not the target of conflicts.
