A quarter of Americans fear civil war after the election
According to a survey by YouGov Institute, it was found that about 27% of Americans believe that a civil war is likely to occur in this country after the presidential election.
According to RCO News Agency, this survey was conducted while the supporters of Republican and Democratic candidates Donald Trump and Kamala Harris have a common concern about the emergence of civil war in America after the November 5 election.
According to the Rashatudi News channel, a significant number of Americans fear that the November 5 election may lead to political violence, and 6 percent said that the second civil war in the United States is “very likely” to happen, while 21 percent said “maybe.” to fall
Nearly equal proportions of Trump and Harris supporters thought civil war was at least somewhat likely, according to an Oct. 18-21 poll for The Times and the SAY24 Project.
Twelve percent of the 1,266 respondents said they knew someone who might pick up a gun if Trump was tricked, while five percent reported knowing someone who would do the same for Harris. The survey also asked participants about gun ownership, but no correlation was found with perceptions of the likelihood of civil war.
The poll also showed deep divisions in American society, with 84 percent of voters agreeing that America is more divided than it was 10 years ago.
After Harris replaced Joe Biden in the Democratic Party nomination, Democrats were initially happy with the situation, but recent polls have shown that Trump is leading in most key states.
