One billion dollar donation from Lebanon support conference to Beirut
The International Conference to Support Lebanon pledged to collect one billion dollars in aid to Lebanon.
According to Isna, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barro said that the international conference in support of Lebanon in Paris brought 800 million dollars in humanitarian aid and another 200 million dollars for the Lebanese army.
He added that the war in Lebanon has resulted in the loss of 15 years of growth.
The French Foreign Minister stated: We support the full implementation of Resolution 1701 and the presence of the Lebanese army in the south.
The head of the French diplomatic service emphasized that no country can exercise the domination of one group over another group in Lebanon.
Jean-Noel Barro pointed out that it is not reasonable for Lebanon to be without a president.
