China: Relations with Russia are not against others
Russian President Vladimir Putin hosted his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the 16th BRICS Summit.
According to Isna, Putin said to the Chinese President: “Russia and China continue to develop trade despite all external influences. “The cooperation between the two countries is not based on opportunism.”

Xi Jinping also stated in this meeting: “The relations between China and Russia have been tested unprecedentedly in the past 10 years and have survived against it.”
Emphasizing that the relations between China and Russia are not against any third country, he said: “Serious changes in the international sphere cannot cause the stability of relations between the two countries to slip.”
