According to Mehr news agency, citing Sputnik news agency, the Russian Embassy in Sudan announced on Monday that it has been in contact with Sudanese authorities and is investigating reports about a transport plane of this country.

According to Sputnik, it is said that the plane crashed with Russian citizens on board.

A statement issued by the Russian Embassy in Khartoum said: “Moscow is in contact with authorities and is investigating reports of a transport plane that is said to have crashed with Russian passengers on board.”
