Canada’s $47 million military aid to Ukraine
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the allocation of a new Canadian military aid package to Kyiv.
According to RCO News Agency, Canada will provide a military aid package worth 47 million dollars to Ukraine.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced in a statement that this package of military aid will include small arms and ammunition. Canada will also provide Ukraine with personal protective equipment, military uniforms for women and drones.
The country is also supposed to help train Ukrainian soldiers.
In this support package, sums of money will also be allocated to the Ukrainian military.
Canadian Defense Minister Bill Blair said about providing this military support package to Ukraine: “The army announced today that it will provide Ukraine with the important resources it needs to defend itself against Russian aggression. “Canada continues to do everything it can to help them win.”
