Lukashenko: I had private negotiations with Western representatives
The President of Belarus announced his private negotiations with representatives of Western countries.
According to Isna, according to the Belarusian News agency “Belta”, Alexander Lukashenko, the president of Belarus, announced today (Saturday) in a speech at a festival in the city of “Volozhin” that he held private talks a day before on Friday with “representatives of the countries West” has held.
Lukashenko stated in this speech: “Everyone participates in the exam during the pre-election period. I once came up with a good formula: not only the president of Belarus, but all of us must pass the test in front of our people. I mean, all eyes are on Belarus today, and believe me, Belarus is in everyone’s attention.”
Continuing his speech, he clarified: “I did not appear in public yesterday (October 18), but this day was a very difficult day. I had very difficult and difficult but interesting negotiations with representatives of Western countries, and when I talked with them, I realized how closely they have been watching us and how carefully they are searching and examining our mistakes and successes. “
“They speak honestly and openly when the tape recorders are off,” Lukashenko noted. You know they (including the richest countries) are jealous of us. They envy us because we know how to work and live and celebrate, because we, as a relatively small country, have found our own path of development and have walked in it with dignity.”
Referring to the many events being held in his country, including the “Unity Marathon”, the President of Belarus said: “I asked the opposition forces and government employees to organize this great event throughout the country to show not only the workers and farmers but also Innovators also deserve our approval. We will hold many other similar events.”
Alexander Lukashenko received Russia’s highest medal from Putin 10 days ago after meeting with “Vladimir Putin” on the sidelines of the Summit of the Heads of Independent Cooperative Countries in Moscow.
On August 30, Putin signed the decree to award this medal to Lukashenko at the same time as his 70th birthday.
In his meeting with Putin, Lukashenko said: “The West has designed a plan to strangle us (referring to Belarus and Russia), first of all in economy and finance, but they have already admitted it.”
Lukashenko noted: “The countries that emerged from the collapse of the Soviet Union took the approach of keeping what they had, which was beneficial. Today, we work together in many fields and produce goods that are in demand in the Russian Federation. Russia needs the goods we produce. From agriculture to microelectronics.
