Zelensky’s victory plan intensifies the risk of direct confrontation between Moscow and NATO – Mehr News Agency | RCO News Agency
According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Tass, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, today (Thursday) at the meeting of the European Council, unveiled the so-called “Victory Plan” that he has prepared for Russia’s defeat, and made the Kremlin react.
Dmitry Peskov, Kremlin spokesman, said that Zelensky’s plan leads to further escalation of the war and brings the risk of direct conflict between Russia and NATO.
At today’s European Union summit in Brussels, Zelensky, supporting his “victory plan”, once again repeated his claim about sending troops from North Korea to Russia to help this country in the war with Ukraine, and claimed that Pyongyang intends to send 10 thousand troops to Russia, which according to Zelensky, is the first step in the beginning of a world war!
The president of Ukraine unveiled this plan in Brussels while he is going to unveil the plan at the NATO defense ministers’ meeting and receive more military and financial support from the supporters of Kiev.
He called for Ukraine to join NATO, to strengthen the defense and deterrence of Kiev, and for the joint protection of the vital resources of the country by Western countries.
After more than two and a half years of war, Kiev is losing its eastern territory in the Donbass region, albeit slowly but steadily, and is under a lot of pressure to get out of this crisis.
At the same time as Ukraine entered the third hard war winter, last week Zelensky completed his intensive tour of European capitals including Berlin, London, Paris and Rome. Considering that winter is ahead, as well as the November 5th presidential election of the United States and Russia’s extensive attacks on the key energy infrastructure of Ukraine, the president of this country needs all possible support.
According to the report of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, the forces of this country have made great progress on the eastern front and have targeted the Ukrainian power grid with extensive attacks.
