The entry of tension between North and South Korea threatens the status of Pyongyang – Mehr News Agency | RCO News Agency
According to Mehr news agency, quoted by Reuters, Kim Yo-jong, the vice-president of North Korea’s ruling Workers’ Party and the sister of the country’s leader Kim Jong-un, warned Seoul about the entry of a drone from South Korea into Pyongyang’s airspace, saying that such an event is “a disaster.” Terrible” will result.
Referring to South Korea’s propaganda announcements against Pongyang, the North Korean leader’s sister said: “The fact that drones are the means used to carry these announcements is the main point of contention in the recent incident.”
He added: The South Korean army is to blame for not identifying the drones that a non-governmental organization crosses the border with.
Following South Korea’s anti-Pyongyang propaganda announcements, the northern neighbor sent thousands of balloons containing garbage to Seoul in May, and tensions between the two countries escalated.
Pyongyang has emphasized that these balloons are a response to the action of some activists and traitors who are present in South Korea, and by sending balloons containing messages, they target and destroy Kim Jong-un.
North Korea’s Foreign Ministry on Friday accused South Korea of sending drones to Pyongyang at night this week and last week and announced that the illegal entry of the drone into Pyongyang’s airspace requires a retaliatory response. In response, South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff claimed that it was unable to confirm North Korea’s accusations.
