Harris continues to lead in the polls
According to the latest published polls, the candidate of the Democratic Party is leading by a fixed and continuous margin at the national level.
According to RCO News Agency, following the withdrawal of US President Joe Biden from the presidential race of this country in June, he quickly supported his deputy Kamala Harris and finally, Harris became the candidate of the Democratic Party in the US presidential elections and the rival of Donald Trump. He became the former president and candidate of the Republican Party.
When Harris entered the race, the Democrats were always ahead of the Republicans in most polls conducted by American opinion polls.
In this regard, the “Economist” publication, in cooperation with the “Yugav” Institute, published a new survey today in which Harris has maintained his lead over Trump by winning 49% of the vote and a 4% difference at the national level.
According to this survey, among American voters, 47% said that they will vote for the Democratic Party candidate on November 5th (November 15th) and the election day. 44% definitely supported the candidate of the Republican Party.
Citing his survey, the Economist also wrote that more than 5 percent of eligible voters have not yet chosen their candidate, and 1 percent said they will not participate in the US presidential election.
According to this poll, 95% of Democrats, 38% of independents and 6% of Republicans will vote for Harris. The situation is a little more difficult for Trump; Only 90% of Republicans, 40% of independents and 2% of Democrats will vote for him.
In this regard, the Hill magazine wrote that the candidate of the Democratic Party has more support among the Democrats.
But Harris’s popularity is not limited to himself. His deputy, Tim Waltz, is more popular than JD Vance, Trump’s deputy, with a margin of 2 percent and 48 percent of the vote.
On the other hand, at the same time as the presidential elections in the United States, both political parties of this country are fighting to gain control of the Congress, and in these competitions, both parties are on an equal level.
According to the Economist and Yugao polls, the most important issues for American voters were the importance of inflation, the economy and employment, illegal immigration, and the health structure of the United States.
In this regard, a Reuters/Ipsos poll previously announced that 46 percent of participants believe that Donald Trump is a better candidate to solve economic problems, and only 38 percent trust Harris in this regard.
In addition, the results of this survey indicate that Trump is more trusted by the participants regarding immigration and crime-related issues.
The Republican nominee told supporters in August that he is the candidate who will keep suburban residents “safe” and ensure that immigrants do not cross the border illegally.
Trump blames the Biden administration for inflation and damage to the average American society, while Harris has devoted significant attention to average families and their economic concerns in his speeches. Harris is also seen among participants as a candidate who can protect democracy and counter political extremism.
