According to RCO News Agency, citing TASS, according to Vladimir Kuznetsov, the head of the United Nations Information Center in Moscow, Russia has invited Antonio Guterres, the Secretary General of the United Nations, to attend the summit of the “BRICS” group in Kazan.

According to the head of this center, Russia has sent an invitation to Guterres according to the current procedure of informing him about his presence in international events.

Kuznetsov says that the UN expects important agreements to be made at this summit. Russia has assumed the rotating presidency of BRICS since January 1 of this year. The main event of the Russian presidency is the summit that will be held on October 22-24 (December 2-4) hosted by Kazan.
