Serbia: The initiative of the war is in the hands of Russia – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Tass, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic assessed Ukraine’s situation on the battlefield as unfavorable.
Speaking to Politico, the Serbian president said: Russia is taking the initiative in the Ukraine conflict, while the West will find it increasingly difficult to finance Kiev.
Vucic added that the Russians have the initiative on the battlefield. Initially, the West thought it would be easy to invest in and finance Ukraine’s defense sector due to Russia’s relatively weak economic conditions. But now the task has become much more difficult.
The president of Serbia emphasized that the heads of European countries do not want to hear his analysis of the situation in Ukraine because they consider themselves the most intelligent people in the world.
As a result, they don’t want to hear anyone who thinks differently, Vucic said.
The Serbian president said that he has met Russian President Vladimir Putin about 20 times and knows him better than any other European leader. But unlike some European leaders who have regular contacts with Putin, he has not had any contact with the Russian president in the last two and a half years.
Russian officials have repeatedly stated that sending Western weapons to Ukraine will not weaken Russia’s resolve and will not change the course of special military operations.
