Blinken: The risk of escalation of tension in the region is acute
The US foreign minister said: “The risk of escalation of tension in the region is acute and we are very focused on it.”
According to RCO News Agency, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said in a speech today: Diplomacy and our coordinated efforts are necessary to prevent further escalation and pave the way for greater peace and stability.
“We are working tirelessly with our partners to avoid all-out war and move toward a diplomatic process,” Blinken added.
He added: We thank our partners, especially Qatar and Egypt, for their tireless efforts to achieve a ceasefire.
The US Secretary of State stated: Each of us must continue to put pressure on all parties to make the necessary decisions to reach this agreement.
Blinken accused Iran of being the cause of instability in the region and said: We must coordinate to prevent Iran’s destabilizing activities.
The US Secretary of State, whose country is the main sponsor of Israel’s crimes in Gaza, emphasized: I want everyone to use the influence we have to put pressure on Iran to prevent the escalation of tension.
The US Secretary of State also claimed: We are working to prevent the escalation of tension and ensure that it does not transition to an all-out war.
