The new French foreign minister will visit Lebanon – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to the Mehr News Agency, French President Emmanuel Macron, on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City, said that the new French Foreign Minister Stephane Sejournay’s visit to Lebanon at the end of this week in the midst of deadly attacks and crimes by the Zionist regime against The people of Lebanon reported.
According to Palestine News Network, Macron discussed recent developments in Lebanon at the United Nations headquarters and expressed concern about the expansion of the scope of the war in Lebanon.
In his speech, he called for the cessation of Israel’s attacks on Lebanon and demanded that this regime adhere to the standards and agreements approved by the United Nations regarding Lebanese affairs.
The French president further announced that the new French foreign minister will visit Lebanon at the end of the week.
In another part of his remarks, the French President addressed the Gaza war and expressed hope that the ceasefire negotiations in Gaza will be achieved with the efforts of third parties, including the United States, Egypt and Qatar.
Continuing his interview on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, Macron once again emphasized the country’s commitment to establishing an independent Palestinian state in the occupied territories.
