The terms of the Ukrainian peace plan from Zelensky’s language
In his speech at the UN General Assembly, the president of Ukraine stated the terms of his peace plan while accusing Iran.
According to RCO News Agency, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, who traveled to New York to attend the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly, said in his Wednesday speech at the United Nations General Assembly: “In March 2022, I will receive one of the most frightening News. I received information about Russia’s plan for a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. This news was about the attack of Russian tanks on the buildings of nuclear power plants in Ukraine.
He claimed: “The Russian army attacked the largest nuclear power plant in Europe without thinking about the consequences of attacking the nuclear power plant, and many in Ukraine remembered the events of Chernobyl. “Russian forces have still occupied the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, and Europe and possibly the world is at risk of a nuclear crisis.”
Despite Western countries and Ukrainian supporters criticizing Zelensky’s “peace” plan and describing this plan as a list of Zelensky’s request to receive more extensive weapons, the President of Ukraine claimed in the continuation of his speech: “In this regard, in the first paragraph of the peace plan, on nuclear security I emphasized.”
The president of Ukraine added: “Only if the Russian forces withdraw from the Zaporozhye power plant and return this power plant to Ukraine, the nuclear security of Europe and the world will be ensured again.”
More than 80% of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure has been completely destroyed
He further claimed: “Since Russia cannot break the resistance of our people, Putin (President of Russia) seeks to break the spirit of Ukraine.” He (Putin) has resorted to using new methods such as attacking Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, and Russia’s deliberate attacks against Ukraine’s energy infrastructure have resulted in the destruction of all our thermal power plants and most of our hydropower plants.”
Without mentioning Russia’s efforts to achieve peace in 2022 and the West’s desire to continue the war in Ukraine, Zelensky added: “Russia is preparing for winter and tormenting millions of Ukrainians. “Putin is trying to force Ukraine to accept peace and surrender.”
He reiterated: “More than 80 percent of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure has been completely destroyed.”
“I recently received disturbing reports about Putin’s plans to attack other nuclear power plants in Ukraine,” Zelensky claimed. “Putin is looking to remove these power plants from Ukraine’s energy circuit.”
Without providing specific details, he also claimed: “Russia is using the satellites of other countries to receive extensive images and information about Ukraine.”
Ukraine seeks to end the war
The president of Ukraine added: “Any attack on the nuclear power plant will lead to a nuclear crisis, and such a day must not come, and the issue of preventing this crisis depends on you (the international community) and your pressure against the aggressor forces.”
Again, without mentioning the role of his supporters in the continuation of this bloody war and his plans for the continuation of the war in Ukraine in line with the wishes of his supporters, Zelensky claimed: “Ladies and gentlemen, two years ago and after the start of the war, at the meeting of the leaders of the Group of 20 In Indonesia, I presented a concrete plan to end the war. It is important that the world understands that Ukraine seeks to end this war. “War is always a threat against others.”
He added: “This war can spread to other parts of the world, and in case of a nuclear crisis by Russia, this crisis can cover many countries. However, it is the citizens of Ukraine who are bearing the real consequences of this war. “Ukrainians are bearing the consequences of Putin’s decision to do whatever he wants.”
Russian forces are occupying more territories every moment
“No fair peace is possible without Ukraine, and all the countries that are our supporters in this war know that Russia, which is a country 20 times bigger than Ukraine, wants to occupy more territories and its forces are advancing every moment,” Zelensky stated. They occupy more lands.”
The president of Ukraine turned to the rejected claims and said: “Russia is supported by North Korea and Iran. “Now all the countries close to Russia and Europe are worried that the war will spread in their lands as well.”
He added: “Russia hates the unity of all countries in their support of the peace plan, and this is the reason for Moscow’s opposition to this plan.” At the United Nations, I met with the leaders of India, Japan, Turkey, Finland, Paraguay, Canada, Guatemala, Slovenia, Italy and many others, and these countries have different political views and different geographical locations, but they all know that the world is It needs a just peace.”
No country can impose its will on Ukraine
Saying that “Unfortunately, it is difficult to achieve peace and end this war through international organizations,” Zelensky added: “When the aggressor country has the right of veto in the Security Council, the United Nations is powerless to end the war.” But the peace plan cannot be vetoed. For this reason, the best opportunity to achieve an effective and real peace is the peace plan.
“When some people propose alternative plans for the agreement, they not only ignore the will and suffering of Ukrainians and reality, but also give Putin an opportunity to continue the war and pressure the world,” he claimed.
Zelensky claimed: “Any alternative solution to achieving peace is presented to gain encouragement. The peace plan has been in existence for 2 years, and maybe some people are looking to win the Nobel Peace Prize by presenting their proposals, instead of peace and stopping the war, but the only real reward for your plans is the continuation of Putin’s war and the suffering of Ukraine.”
He added: “We must restore nuclear security, prevent the use of energy facilities as a tool of war, return all our soldiers captured by Russia and our expelled citizens from Ukraine, and uphold the UN Charter and Ukraine’s sovereignty.” “The occupying forces of Russia must leave the occupied territories and be held accountable for their war crimes, and we must prevent another war and say that the war is over.”
Continuing his speech at the UN General Assembly, the president of Ukraine claimed: “The mentioned items are the conditions of the peace plan.” “Anyone who seeks to present an alternative plan and ignores the conditions mentioned in the peace plan is a partner in Putin’s war.”
He continued by questioning the desire of countries like China, Brazil, “some” European and African countries to provide an alternative way to achieve peace and said: “When countries like China, Brazil, a number of countries in Europe and Africa offer an alternative solution You should ask them what your real goal is. “Everyone should understand that you cannot deepen your power and capabilities by using Ukraine.”
Zelenskiy added: “All countries should understand that the time of colonialism is over and no country can impose its will on Ukraine and we should not go back to the time when Ukraine was under colonialism.”
In the end, he claimed: “I want a just peace and the support of all the countries of the world.” “I ask you to remain united and not to divide the world into pieces, and this can lead to peace for Ukraine.”
