Peskov: There is no alternative to winning the Ukraine conflict
The Kremlin spokesman said Russia has no alternative to achieve victory in its military operations in Ukraine.
According to Isna, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in an interview with famous Russian journalist Pavel Zarubin: “There has been no other alternative for Russia in history, and there is no alternative for our victory now.”
Sputnik News agency quoted the Kremlin spokesman as saying: “Russia should take the positions of the West seriously in view of its goals, which demand the defeat of Russia strategically and tactically.”
Continuing this interview, Peskov added: “They publicly say that their goal is to defeat Russia both strategically and tactically. This issue forces us to consider this position very seriously in order to shape our actions in the face of this threat and to continue our military operations to achieve all our goals.
Referring to the provocative actions of the West in Ukraine, he added: “There is a war going on.” They are at war with us. They are fighting us in groups, we have a group enemy in front of us. “The West wants to defeat Russia both strategically and tactically.”
