Netanyahu postponed his trip to America due to tensions with Hezbollah
The Israeli Prime Minister, who was scheduled to visit the United States on Tuesday, postponed his trip by a day due to security concerns at the Lebanese border.
According to Isna, the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that due to concerns about tensions between the occupying regime and Lebanon’s Hezbollah, Netanyahu will begin his planned trip to the United States with a one-day delay.
According to “The Times of Israel” newspaper, Netanyahu, who was supposed to travel to America on Tuesday, made his trip a day later and will go to America on Wednesday due to security concerns at the Lebanese border.
Netanyahu’s office announced that he is scheduled to address the United Nations General Assembly in the United States on September 27 (Friday).
While announcing the delay in Netanyahu’s trip, the representative of the Zionist regime in the United Nations claimed about the tensions with Lebanon: “We have no intention of going to war (with Lebanon).”
On Tuesday, several thousand pagers exploded in Lebanon, killing at least 12 people and injuring more than 2,800 people. Also, on Wednesday, in another wave of these explosions, wireless devices used by Hezbollah members exploded, this time killing 25 people and injuring more than 600 people.
Also, the Lebanese Hezbollah announced on Friday that 16 people were martyred in the Israeli airstrike on the outskirts of Beirut, including Ibrahim Aqeel, the commander of the Hezbollah. This attack also resulted in 66 injuries.
These events have intensified the possibility of a full-scale war between the Zionist regime and Lebanon’s Hezbollah, and that is why Netanyahu has postponed his planned visit to New York by one day.
