Bulgaria and Taiwan denied their role in the explosion of Lebanese pagers – Mehr news agency RCO News Agency

According to Mehr news agency, quoted by US News, the authorities of Taiwan and Bulgaria denied any involvement in the supply chain of thousands of pagers, which were detonated in deadly explosions in Lebanon on Tuesday.

Taiwan-based Gold Apollo said this week that it did not manufacture the devices used in the attack. Taiwan’s Economy Minister Ko Jiehui announced today that he can say with certainty that the Taiwan-made pitches did not explode in the Lebanon explosion.

The State Security Organization of Bulgaria also announced on Friday that none of the pagers used in the Lebanon attack were imported from Bulgaria, exported or manufactured here.
