According to RCO News Agency, citing Al Jazeera, with the publication of the “New York Times” report about the manipulation of the pagers that exploded in Lebanon and the fact that the manufacturing company is Taiwanese, the Ministry of Economy of Taiwan announced by claiming that there is no trace or record of the direct export of these pagers from Taiwan to Lebanon. which probably the manufacturing company has manipulated these pagers after export.
A few hours ago, the New York Times in a report revealed new dimensions of the series of explosions of pager devices in Lebanon.
According to the New York Times, knowledgeable American officials, who did not want to be named, announced in this regard: Lebanon’s Hezbollah had ordered a pager from Taiwan’s Gold Apollo Company, and Israel managed to manipulate the pagers before they entered Lebanon. Embed a little explosive inside them.
This publication claimed the widespread distribution of these pagers among Hezbollah members throughout Lebanon and even some people related to this movement in Iran and Syria.
The Russian publication Rashatodi also announced in a report that the members of the Mossad spy agency contaminated thousands of pagers with explosives and then distributed them in Lebanon. It seems that sending a specific message caused the battery of these pagers to heat up and then explode the plastic explosives inside these devices.
The claims made by these media are being made while Lebanon’s Hezbollah has announced the beginning of its investigation into these explosions and has not yet taken an official position in this regard.
