Moscow: The accusation of sending Iranian ballistic missiles is an excuse for the West to give permission to attack Russian territory
Russia’s ambassador to the United Nations, Vasiliy Nebenzia, warned today (Friday) in a statement that NATO member states will go to war with Russia if they lift the restrictions on attacking Russian territory with long-range weapons.
According to Isna, Nebenzia said in the Security Council meeting: If the decision is really taken to remove the restrictions, this will mean that the NATO member states will directly go to war with Russia from this moment. In this case, we will also make decisions in this regard, the consequences of which will plague the western adversaries.
The Russian ambassador went on to say that America is trying to put all the blame on others, but it will not be able to do this because of the existence of “information from the satellites of the United States and the European Union”.
In another part of his speech, Nebenzia stated that the West started talking about using long-range weapons to target Russia a few months ago: “As a pretext for this action, baseless distortions about the possible sending of missiles Iran’s ballistics has been raised.”
This meeting of the Security Council was held at the request of Russia and focuses on providing Western weapons to Kiev.
