Russia: England is close to a new round of escalation

The Russian Embassy in London has stated in a statement received by RIA Novosti: “The British authorities are trying to change the elements on the battlefield that are unfavorable for Kiev, it seems that they are close to taking a dangerous step in the escalation of tensions.”

The Russian embassy further announced that the promise of new British aid to Kiev is lost in the pockets of senior Ukrainian officials.

The embassy claimed that London was seeking to impose a “strategic defeat” on Russia.
