New US sanctions on Russia
On Thursday, the US Department of Treasury announced the imposition of sanctions against two Indian companies and two ships for allegedly being related to the Russian Arctic LNG 2 project.
According to RCO News Agency, the ministry has added “Gothic” and “OPC” shipping companies to its list of sanctions due to their connection with the Russian project to export liquefied natural gas.
These sanctions have also targeted the two ships “New Energy” and “Mulan”.
