Such a proposal, along with the restrictions that the Foreign Influence Transparency Act imposes on civil society, will put more pressure on EU-Georgia relations. The opposition and anger of the European Union with this plan, while today, the Parliament of Georgia approved this law, which was put forward in line with the protection of family values, in its second public meeting regarding this plan with 81 votes in favor and no votes against. The ruling party plans to approve the law in its third hearing in September, a few weeks before the country’s crucial parliamentary elections on October 26.

Earlier, Moscow warned about the attempt of the US and its European allies to create a “color revolution” in Georgia.
The public relations of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service announced that the White House “is extremely dissatisfied with the prospects of Georgia on the eve of the October 26 parliamentary elections in this country.”
According to this report, the Americans are preparing a color revolution in this country to finally demand the transfer of power.
The color revolution is an event during which the countries of the Eastern Bloc, after the collapse of the former Soviet Union, underwent a change of government in favor of Western parties. Most of these revolutions took place after the important elections of the country and on the pretext of rigging the elections and violent treatment of the protesters.
Georgia has seen a color revolution called the “Rose Revolution” before, and in 2003, a pro-Russian president was ousted and a pro-Western government came to power.
