The judges of that court should be scared even to think of arresting Putin – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to the Mehr news agency, quoted by Tass, Dmitry Medvedev, the deputy of the Russian Security Council, says that the International Criminal Court must “think very carefully” about it before executing the arrest warrant of Russian President Vladimir Putin!
Reacting to the European Union’s statement about Putin’s visit to Mongolia, which is considered a member of the International Criminal Court, Medvedev said: Mongolians ignored the International Criminal Court and European politicians. If I were in the place of one of the judges or prosecutors of this so-called “court”, I would shudder at the thought that some idiots would try to execute their illegitimate sentence, because in that case, their lives would not be worth more than that piece of paper. had!
Putin’s visit to Mongolia is important because this country is one of the members of the International Criminal Court. In March last year, this court issued an arrest warrant for the President of Russia, accusing him of war crimes for illegally emigrating hundreds of Ukrainian children from this country and transferring them to Russia. The Kremlin has strongly denied these accusations and called them politically motivated. Immediately after issuing this verdict, Medvedev called it “legally invalid”.
This ruling requires 124 members of the International Court of Justice, including Mongolia, to detain Putin and transfer him to The Hague for trial if he enters their country. After learning about Putin’s visit to Ulaanbaatar, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine asked the Mongolian authorities to arrest him in compliance with the international arrest warrant!
