Armenian newspaper: Aliyev rejected Pashinyan’s proposal to sign the peace treaty
Herapark newspaper of Armenia wrote: President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev rejected the proposal of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to sign the agreed provisions of the peace agreement and left the discussion on this matter to the future.
According to RCO News Agency, Jehon Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan advised the Armenian side to deal with the issue more seriously. Bayramov said: Armenia has removed several important points from the draft peace treaty. In the near future, we will present to Armenia a version that is based on international law and international law and corresponds to our national interests.
Pashinyan said that Yerevan and Baku have reached an agreement on 13 out of 17 articles (draft peace treaty) and he proposes to sign them in this way.
Neither Pashinyan nor Bayramov disclosed the content of those 13 articles and what the parties are unable to agree on.
