According to Mehr news agency, citing Anatolia news agency, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Faisal bin Farhan, the country’s foreign minister, met with Hakan Fidan, Badr Abdul Ati, Ayman Al Safadi and Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the foreign ministers of Turkey, Egypt, Jordan and Bahrain. Talked by phone about the process of ceasefire negotiations in Gaza.

In these calls, the latest developments of the Palestinian issue, the efforts of Islamic countries to regain the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, and the achievement of a ceasefire in Gaza were discussed.

Also, the violation of the rights of the invaders of Jerusalem in occupied Palestine, the ways to strengthen and develop the joint efforts of Arab and Islamic countries to stop the crimes of this regime were evaluated.

Since October 7, 2023, more than 40,000 Palestinians, including more than 16,000 children and 11,269 women, have died and more than 94,000 others have been injured in the attacks of the occupying Zionists on the Gaza Strip.
