Russia has no intention to attack NATO territory – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to the report of Mehr News Agency, quoted by Sputnik, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in a statement that Moscow has no intention to attack the territory of NATO member countries.
The statement states that “German senior military officials believe that Russia will “probably” attack NATO territory in the next 5-7 years, but we emphasize once again that our country has no such plans and plans.”
Regarding the construction of a military base in Lithuania where German soldiers will be stationed, the statement added: “We constantly stress that the increase in military activity and capabilities of NATO and its member states near the Russian border is provocative.”
Earlier, the media reported that Lithuania has started the construction of a military base in Lithuania, where more than 4,000 German soldiers will be stationed by the end of 2027.
