Al-Azhar reacted to the attack of the Zionist army on the West Bank by issuing a statement.

In this statement, Al-Azhar announced: We condemn the Zionist terrorist regime’s attack on the West Bank and warn against the Zionist plan to take ownership of the West Bank and Judaize its works and symbols.

In the continuation of this statement, it is stated: The occupiers are trying to destroy Palestine and make all the occupied Palestinian territories Jewish. We warn about the dangerous impact of aggression on Gaza on the security and stability of the region.

Al-Azhar emphasized: We ask the Islamic world to implement the embargo on Zionist goods to protect the lives of Palestinians and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

It should be noted that on the morning of Wednesday last week, the Zionist army announced the beginning of its massive attack on the northern provinces of the West Bank, and while attacking these areas and martyring and wounding a number of Palestinians, it besieged hospitals located in the north of the West Bank.

In addition, since last Wednesday morning, parts of the infrastructure facilities of these West Bank provinces have been destroyed by the soldiers of the Zionist regime.
