The United Nations expressed concern about the consequences of the conflict in Ukraine on civilians
The United Nations expressed its concern over the increasingly negative consequences of the war in Ukraine on civilians, including in Kursk and Belgrade.
According to Isna, a UN spokesman said on Friday: The escalation of attacks on different areas of Ukraine has led to more civilian casualties and injuries, as well as widespread destruction of civilian infrastructure, including in the fields of energy, health, and education. The Secretary-General of the United Nations remains deeply concerned about the worsening situation for civilians due to the conflicts in eastern Ukraine, as well as the Ukrainian-Russian border, including in Kursk and Belgrade regions.
Further, the UN spokesperson announced that “Antonio Guterres”, the Secretary General of this organization, wants all parties to ensure the safety of civilians and civilian infrastructure.
