Zelensky: We will respond to Russia’s attack today and yesterday – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
Referring to the new round of Russian night attacks in different parts of Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in a message on virtual networks, claimed that Kiev will definitely respond, according to Mehr news agency, citing Moscow Times.
This morning, the Kiev army announced a massive Russian missile and drone attack on several regions of Ukraine. This happened a day after Moscow’s biggest air attack against different cities of Ukraine, including Kiev, the capital of this country.
In a message on social networks, Zelensky claimed: We will undoubtedly respond to this and other attacks. Crime against humanity will not go unpunished.
Meanwhile, the governor of Russia’s Belgorod region said after reports of the Ukrainian attack that the situation in the region bordering Ukraine was “difficult but under control.”
Belgord also borders the Kursk region of Russia; An area where Kiev has claimed to occupy large parts of this area three weeks after Ukrainian forces entered it.
Vyacheslav Gladkov, the appointed governor of Russia in Belgorod, wrote in Telegram: We have information that the enemy is planning to enter the territory (of Russia) through the border of Belgorod region. According to the announcement of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, the situation in the border area is difficult but under control. Our forces are implementing the planned plan. Keep calm and trust only official sources of information.
Zelensky previously called the attack of the Russian army on the city of Kiev and other Ukrainian cities “combined” and one of the biggest attacks during the current war and said that these attacks have caused a lot of damage to the energy infrastructure of Ukraine.
