Grossi’s visit to the Kursk nuclear power plant
Today (Tuesday), the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency thanked Putin for inviting him to visit the Kursk nuclear power plant.
According to RCO News Agency, Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, arrived in the city of “Kurchatov” in Kursk to evaluate the situation in the nuclear power plant of this city.
According to the Sputnik News agency, Grosi thanked Russian President Vladimir Putin for the invitation to visit the plant in such extraordinary conditions.
This visit was made after the Ukrainian forces attacked the city of Kursk, where the nuclear power plant is located, on August 6.
Putin previously said: “The International Atomic Energy Agency has learned about the Ukrainians’ attempt to attack the Kursk nuclear power plant and has promised to send experts.”
During Ukraine’s attacks on Russia, Novosti news agency reported that Ukrainian authorities plan to attack Russia’s “Kursk” region as well as Zaporizhia nuclear power plant and blame Russia for these provocative actions.
