In a message in support of the terrorist actions of the Zionist regime following the recent attack by the Lebanese Hezbollah on the occupied territories, the speaker of the US House of Representatives called for the Biden administration to take action against Iran and this Lebanese group.
According to RCO News Agency, Mike Johnson, the speaker of the US House of Representatives, after the first stage of Lebanon’s Hezbollah operation in retaliation for the Zionist regime’s attack on south Beirut and the assassination of Fouad Shekar, one of the senior commanders of Lebanon’s Hezbollah, in support of the actions of the Zionist regime and claims against the role Iran said in the region that this incident shows why the Biden government should accelerate the delivery of weapons shipments to the occupied territories and impose more sanctions against Iran.
On Sunday morning, Lebanon’s Hezbollah launched the first stage of revenge for the Zionist regime’s attack on south Beirut and the assassination of martyr Fawad Shekar, one of the top commanders of this movement, under the name “Operation Arbaeen”. Estimates indicate the continuation of this operation and the Lebanese resistance has also emphasized that this drone and missile attack will continue.
The Lebanese resistance used 320 Katyusha missiles and dozens of drones in this attack and targeted several intelligence and security bases of the Zionist regime.
“Sayed Hassan Nasrallah”, Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, explaining about this operation, said: Our response today is preliminary and preliminary, and if the result of the operation is insufficient for us, we will decide what to do later.
The Jowish News Syndicate news website reported that Johnson wrote in a message in support of the Zionist regime on his personal page on the X social network: “Iran and its terrorist groups must be held accountable.”
He urged the Biden administration to implement additional sanctions approved by Congress against Iran last spring.
The claim of terrorism has been made by Johnson against Iran and the resistance groups in the region, while the Zionist regime has recently killed Ismail Haniyeh, the former head of the political bureau of the Hamas movement in Tehran, and Fouad Shekar, during two cross-border terrorist acts. He assassinated one of the resistance commanders in Beirut and martyred him.
Iran and the resistance groups have promised “severe punishments” in response to this act of the Zionist regime.
