According to Mehr news agency, quoted by Al-Manar, Lebanon’s Hezbollah issued a statement this morning announcing the beginning of the first phase of its response to the assassination of its senior commander, Martyr Fawad Shakar, in the suburbs of Beirut by the Zionist regime by launching dozens of missiles and drones.

News sources report the closure of Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv and the suspension of all incoming and outgoing flights from the occupied territories.

Channel 12 of the Zionist regime TV reported that dozens of rockets fired from southern Lebanon hit the occupied territories.

Hezbollah emphasized in its statement: “Our operation will take time and after that it will issue a detailed statement about its route and objectives.”

This morning, the Zionist media acknowledged the firing of at least 320 missiles and drones from southern Lebanon to northern occupied Palestine.
