Zakharova: Armenia blames Russia for its mistakes
The spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that Yerevan is trying to introduce Moscow as the cause of its “strategic mistakes”.
According to RCO News Agency, on Wednesday evening, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova told reporters at a press conference: “Yervan’s reaction to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s statement regarding the implementation of tripartite agreements indicates Armenia’s attempt to introduce Russia as He is the cause of his own strategic mistakes.”

Zakharova noted: “By sabotaging the tripartite agreements, Yerevan once again acted on the orders of the West and lost the opportunity to create communication routes, transport and try to normalize the conditions in the Caucasus region for the benefit of its economy.”

Earlier, during his visit to Baku, Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his willingness to mediate in the Nagorno-Karabakh peace agreement.
Regarding the peace treaty between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia, he said: “If we can do something to advance the process of signing the peace agreement and advance the situation towards clearing the borders from military forces and delimiting their boundaries, we will be very happy about this.”
Putin also noted that he will discuss the results of his meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev with the Prime Minister of Armenia and emphasized Russia’s willingness to participate in the settlement between Baku and Yerevan if both sides need it.
